Dinner Crashers by Katherine Julia

Hey everybody :)
I know I usually do my author's notes at the end, but I just want to explain what this story basically is, so there's no confusion.
It's basically AU, because Cammie, Bex, Liz and Macey find out about the exchange (in the second book) in a different way. Instead of being at dinner with the rest of the Gallagher girls, they are actually sneaking around in the vents in the ceiling of the dining room. I'm assuming that they are bugging the rooms or something. Anyways, the boys are just being announced when this quick story takes place.
"And now I'd like everyone to welcome the boys from Blackthorne Institute!" Rachel Morgan's voice was loud and clear, but the sound of gasps and silverware hitting wood drowned her out as the great doors swung open to reveal fifteen teenage boys.
After a beat of silence, the room came alive with whispers and giggling, and shocked girls swapping theories.
The boys entered the room and sat down at an empty table—at the beakoning of a bald, round man accompanying them—and then turned their attention back to Headmistress Morgan.
When Rachel Morgan was finally able to get the girls to quiet down, she spoke. "The boys will be staying with us this semester, and joining you in you classes. They will eat with you, learn with you and live within Gallagher's walls with you. I expect you to treat them with welcome respect." She seemed to be speaking to each girl at the same time.
Then she gestured to the man who had come with the boys, and he stood from his place at the boy's table. "This is Dr. Steven Sa—"
All of a sudden there was a great cracking noise, and Headmistress Morgan stopped speaking abruptly. Her eyes were trained to the ceiling, where a giant crack had appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
And then the plaster in the ceiling fell away, and girls screamed as the ceiling in the center of the room caved in and fell in between the tables. Dust went everywhere, and girls and boys were coughing into their sleeves.
"Everyone stay sitting!" Headmistress Morgan shouted over surprised shrieks.
Finally, as the dust began to settle, the occupants of the dining room realized what had happened. It seemed that the vents between the ceiling and the roof had collapsed. And the reasons for the collapse were lying in the ruble, decked out in dusty black and groaning on the floor.
Cammie Morgan groaned and put a hand to her head. "Whoa…" Her speech was somewhat slurred. Next to her, her roommates and best friends Bex Baxter, Liz Sutton and Macey McHenry were slowly getting up too.
The fall had left poor liz squashed under Macey, and Bex had twisted her arm. Luckily, the girls had realized what was happening at the last moment and been able to angle themselves for the least amount of harmful impact.
The boy's were in shock. Their first night there, and already there were Gallagher Girls falling from the sky!
Suddenly the four girls seemed to realize where they were. Their eyes grew wide and fearful, and they turned to the podium in time to see a vein seem to burst in Rachel Morgan's neck as she glared down at them furiously from her place at the teacher's table. It seemed that hell had come for them, in the form of Cammie's mom.
"CAMERON ANN MORGAN!"
Crap.
