Author's Note: My first story! And it's a drabble. Heh.
There was soft thud.
Then there was another.
Then a third.
Garrus eyed the little krogan. "Why did we let Grunt teach him how to do that again?"
"Because it would've happened sooner or later."
Garrus rolled his eyes. "I would've preferred later."
Shepard smiled at him and leaned over. She pressed a kiss to his mandible, making it flutter slightly. "Would you really?" she murmured mouth still against his mandible. "Once he's big enough he'll probably be able to knock you out without proper practice."
The turian paused. He glanced down at the little krogan still headbutting his leg. "Point taken." He moved away from his mate, gently brushing his hand against hers. He stood up and the little one paused to look up at him, eyes large and adoring.
Garrus's annoyance melted away. He knelt down and bent over slightly so his head was at level with the krogan's. The little one gave an excited squeal and ran forward, knocking his skull against the turian's. He let out a chuckle as the little one fell back with a squeak.
The turian gently scooped up the child. He pressed his forehead gently against the babe's and began to nuzzle him, which the toddler returned.
He stopped after a few moments. He glanced over at Shepard.
His mate was grinning innocently at him, her omini-tool glowing and he could see his own holographic image on the other side of it.
"What? I can't help it if my boys are adorable."
Author's Note: Well that's the first one. It would be nice if you'd review but ya don't have to. If you do, feel free to add a prompt or suggestion to it. I have a few already worked out but I would like more. So just send them my way.
