During one of the coldest days in winter, when the lake is frozen and snow covers the ground, we see two people, a girl and boy, around 17, walking hand in hand toward the lake with a pair of skates in their unused hands. Reaching the lake, the girl appears reluctant to what the boy has just whispered. Finally nodding, they both look around the clearing before pressing their watches. When their human image dissapears, you see it is reaplaced with their true image. The image of two demons appears in their place. They are Kurt Wagner and Rachel Alvers. Also known as Nightcrawler and Shadowcrawler. With a small, shy smile, they put their skates on and get on the ice. Rachel appears to have no experiance with ice skating, and is constantly holding onto Kurt. He doesn't seem to mind, and puts his arm around her waist to support her. Blushing, which is evident even through her violet-colored fur, she smiles at him before putting her hand around his waist as well. Stumbling a few times, she seems to be getting the hang of ice-skating, and is now just holding his hand. For the next 20 minutes they do little more than skating around the outside of the lake. They finally stop, shivering, and go to sit on the bench, where you see a thermos, filled with hot chocolate. Sitting in silence for a few minutes, admiring the beaty of the sunset and peacfulness, Kurt puts his arm around Rachels waist, while she leans her head against his shoulder. Sighing in contentment, he leans his head toward Rachel's ear, he whispers 3 words that puts a beautiful smile on her face. If you ever asked what those words were, they would simply smile and tell you it was nothing. But if you were ever curious enough, you merely had to go into Rachel's room at exactly midnight, and you would see Kurt leaning over her, whispering those same three words while he kissed her goodnight.
