Four seasons circle
Mine began in autumn
An empty slate
Marked with a setting sun and crisp breeze
No reasons yet to fear
.
Four seasons circle
Next came the cold winter
A friend thought lost forever
A deep sleep entered
But a new friend's warmth
Like a lantern brought me through
Until we were all together
.
Four seasons circle
Spring appears suddenly
Bright new growth, new questions
But not all are yet answered
There's a hope, a wish
And we wait for the summer
.
Four seasons circle
Summer draws the ending
We planned to go to the beach
To feel the warm sun
Hear the sound of waves
But life's too complicated for something so simple
.
Autumn was peaceful, winter too,
Why can't we return to that?
Spring brought change, summer endings,
And the circle drives us apart
.
Four seasons circle
Autumn comes near again
Bringing the promise of change again
I never wanted us to change
But the circle stops for no-one
So yours is over
And mine begins again.
A/N: Based off of a poem I wrote about three years ago, four maybe. The original was much less depressing, but oh well. I can't write a decent non-depressing KH poem somehow.
