He should be applauded for his amazing performance (the one that was his life). He would smirk (never smile) at everyone. He would be sarcastic and never give a proper reply (until the person leaves). He would be rude (to hide his emotions). He would have sex (never make love) with as many girls as he wants (with any girl who wants him). He would drink until he was drunk to the point of numbness (not intoxication). He would annoy his brother and threaten his life atleast seven times a day. Even though he would kill anyone who ever dared to think about killing his baby brother. He would flirt with his brother's girlfriend until she leaves. Even though he would do anything to keep her friendship. He would make sure every one he loves, hates him and every one he hates is dead. He would make sure he is hated (even though he just wants to be loved). He would drink, smirk, seduce his way through each day until he dies. Too bad that he has eternity of drinking, smirking and seducing... He wishes that it was an eternity of smiling (the real kind), loving and annoying his brother. He doesn't say this out loud. Ever. He cannot say it out loud. He doesn't even think it out loud. He keeps it locked in the forgotten, misplaced, unused part of his mind. Never to be remembered, or mistakenly wished for, and never accidently said...
Every single person has a role laid out of them. Every single person was given a script when they were born. His script doesn't include good; he is meant to be the bad guy, the villian, the sinner. He is too tired and too old (170 years) to try to change the script. His role is to be the hated brother, the hated citizen, the womanizer, the alcoholic (even though he is immune), the man who is always second best. Always the second choice. If he is ever picked first, if he is ever chosen, the world will turn upside down. New scripts would have to be written; roles would have to be changed. The whole universe would have to change it's course to adjust. So, he plays his role well. He smirks for another day. He drinks another drink. He sleeps with another girl. He threatens his brother one more time. He lets them (even his parents) hate him. He plays the villian, the sinner once more. He plays it way too well; he is the greatest bad guy. But that will all change when the world turns upside down, when the universe changes it's course. And in that moment, he will be the good guy. He will be the right guy. He will be the perfect brother, the perfect friend, the perfect lover. He will be missed and prayed for. He will be fought for, he will be saved. He will be chosen and loved. He will be the proud owner of happiness. He will smile, love and be loved. He will be someone's first choice; he will be first. He will be the guy that will have a happily ever after.
