Chapter 1
As I walked from my science class to my locker I could feel that something was wrong. That something big was about to happen, but I shrugged it off as it being an after feeling of the test I just took, or it may have even been just the fact that the school year was almost over. Either way, I quickly dismissed the feeling
I got my things and waited for my friends Selena and Natsumi to come. I stood there for a few minutes, looking like an idiot, but they never showed. I eventually decided instead to just head downstairs to our chorus room. Once I opened the door I noticed everyone was already in there and they all looked worried. Upon my arrival into the chorus room, I realized I was almost late. I quickly sat down and as I did a message came loudly over the intercom listing a great number of names, most of which I didn't know. Although three names stood out to me. Natsumi's, one of my friends named Rain, and my own.

I slowly opened the door the door to the office, just peeking at first but then gradually opening it enough to get in. Inside the crowded office about fifty people were there, many of whom I didn't know, but standing over in a far corner was Natsumi and Rain. They saw me and waved me over.
"Celia?" Rain asked, "Do you have any idea what's going on?"
"Nope, I just got here, what's your excuse?" I replied.
"They've told us next to nothing" Natsumi clarified, "All we do know is that we're in some sort of quarentine mode, whatever that means," As she said this she looked away from Rain and I, almost as if she either knew something we didn't, or she was hiding something.
"I, for one, do not want to-" I started but a loud shout coming over the crowd stopped me.
"Would all highschool students please proceed to the main confrence room!" Even yelling the person could barely be heard at all.
The few highschoolers there were shuffled into the even smaller conference room with us three following. Once we were in the conference room a man in a pinstripe suit quieted us down. "Ok, as you all know the school is in quarentine now, and you're probably wondering what that means just like all school children would. It means that the building and surrounding forest is basically going to be concealed in a barb wire electrical fence. And now just like all school children would, you're wondering why. It's because there is a sort of virus spreading inside the school. So, because of that we're going to have to seal you all inside the fence so that anyone who has the virus will die off. Now you... how many of you are there again, oh yeah 20. Now the 20 of you are in charge of well, everybody else. That means getting them food, water, and a place to sleep. Oh, and all of the school's staff will be leaving because the virus only effects teenagers. Now goodbye and good luck," And with that the strange man in the pinstripe suit walked out of the room with all of the other adults, and the quarentine began.
