This is just for fun and is my first story here

This is a Harry Potter fanfic set in the marauder era.

Over the years the romantic side of Hogwarts has gotten a bit tangled. James has always loved Lily; Lily has always despised James. He's tried desperately over the years win her love and has thwarted most of her other suitors. Unfortunately for James, not all of her suitors are easily deterred. For example, Amos Diggory, the attractive Quidditch captain for Hufflepuff, seems to have his eye on Lily this year. Lily, however, has her eye on Frank Longbottom, who's charming, handsome, a fellow Gryffindor, and head-over-heels for Alice Stone. Alice Stone shares a dorm with Lily and the two are dear friends. Lily knows that Alice is attracted to Remus Lupin, the smart and sensitive marauder. Remus and Nyphadora Tonks are in love. However Remus is far too shy to spill his feelings and risk their friendship. He thinks Tonks is simply a flirt who likes to joke around with him. Tonks is unsure of what her next move will be. She loves Remus, but he doesn't appear to share her feelings. Will she give up on him or construct a plan? Or perhaps pursue Amos Diggory, the very eligible bachelor her family has been trying to pair her off with since she was a child? Whatever she decides her best mates will be there to help her out. Especially Belinda Fenning, the most surreptitious plotter of the conspirators. Belinda may be a little busy with her own plotting, however, since she has been hiding a secret crush on James Potter for about 3 years now. And the true ladies-man, the heartbreaker of Hogwarts, the most devilishly handsome player in the school: Sirius Black has been in denial for some time now. He won't admit it, even to himself, but he looooooves Miss Linda Fenning.

And perhaps the biggest question of all?

Will this mess get sorted before it's too late? Voldemort is on the rise with his creepy death-eating minions. And these are some of his top targets. The top of the seventh year class at Hogwarts. Prime choices for new deatheater recruits or the most substantial new fighters for the resistance. These dark forces are going to try relentlessly to change the alliance of these pure hearts. If they give in, their hearts may never get the chance to feel true love. If they don't, their hearts may never feel again.

Note: Tonks will be the same age as the marauders in this story because she's awesome, I want her in my story, and I'm the author so I can make it that way. =] This of course would change some things in the actual series, but I'm going to ignore that...
