Ever since she turned fifteen she has always train constantly.
Her father wanted her to be prepared for anything hence the training. She will admit she is good enough to beat her father's best of generals. She knows it has partially to do with the fact she can see the light of Etro.
Then she met him a person who can defeat her off and on the battlefield.
Sure she can hold her own quite well but in the end he can still beat her.
It is probably the reason why she requests that she spars against him when she eventually join their team after a peace treaty was called between their countries.
He didn't seem to mind.
Possibly because it chance for them to get stronger, and she will admit he is the perfect sparring partner. He can read her moves better than anybody and counter against them.
In team she learned his moves as well.
Of course she still hasn't been able to beat him yet, she has come close a few times, but in the end he still manages to win.
She will admit she enjoys her little sparring matches with him. It really the only time they can be alone. As she falls to the wooden floorboards she knows that he has won their little match again.
