Starfire Sings
Starfire was sitting in her room, softly crying. She loved Robin more than anything else in the world. He was so handsome, so strong, and so kind to her.
All that Starfire wanted was for Robin to love her back. But he was going out with Bumble Bee, (Not sure how to spell her name :D) a member of Titans East.
She was heartbroken. Robin was her true love, and now he was gone.
She stared out her window at the setting sun, and started to sing.
(I changed some of the words, so that it would make sense)
Robin looks at me
I fake a smile so he won't see
What I want and I need
And everything that we should be
I'll bet she's beautiful
That girl he talks about
And she's got everything
That I have to live without
Robin talks to me
I laugh 'cause it's just so funny
I can't even see
Anyone when he's with me
He says he's so in love
He's finally got it right
I wonder if he knows
He's all I think about at night
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a whishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing
Don't know why I do
Just than Robin was passing by Starfire's door and heard her singing. He pressed his ear right up against the door, and listed to it all.
Robin walks by me
Can't he tell that I can't breathe?
And there he goes, so perfectly
The kind flawless I wish I could be
She better hold him tight
Give him all her love
Look past that mask
And love him in a flash
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car that I keep singing
Don't know why I do
Robin couldn't believe what he was hearing. How could he have know that he had caused this much pain to sweet Starfire.
So I fly home alone
As I turn out the light
I'll put his picture down
And maybe get some sleep tonight
'Cuz he's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart
He's the song in the car I keep singing
Don't know why I do
He's the time taken up but there's never enough
And he's all that I need to fall into
Robin looks at me
I fake a smile so he won't see
Starfire finished singing, and was staring out the window, sighing, when she heard a noise outside of her bedroom door.
She crept over to it, than flung it open. What she found was a very red-faced Robin.
"Robin?" she asked, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Starfire I," he tried, but she interrupted him.
"How could you just stand there, and eavesdrop on me? How could you go out with Bumble Bee? How could you steal my heart, than crush it into a million pieces? How could you hurt me like that Robin?" and with that, she ran out of the room.
"Oh Starfire," thought Robin, "What have I done to you?"
Sorry to end it on a sad note you guys, I just couldn't figure out any other way to end it. :D
