The meeting between Harry and Dudley
Harry steps out of the front porch to meet the car travelling down the road at quite a speed. Out of it steps a relatively finesse man who had slimmed down a good few stone in the years since Harry had last seen him.
"Dudley, good to see you – good journey?" Harry asked his cousin, not entirely sure of what to say to someone like this – someone he hasn't seen in since he was almost 17, and about to leave to fight the darkest wizard of all time – and Dudley didn't even know what happened.
"Fine, and good to see you as well," Dudley replied, and extended his arms out to his cousin, who, at one time, he hated.
"So, how's life for you Big D?" Harry pondered to his cousin.
"Not bad, not bad, just been promoted to CEO of the company Dad works for – he wasn't too happy when I overtook him!" Dudley laughed with Harry, "What about you?"
"Well, I defeated that 'bad guy' and now its great, just moved in with my girlfriend and I'm in training to become an Auror, who catches 'bad guys'"
"Wow, Harry, I guessed you'd become something but not that - congratulations,; now I'm sorry but I need to get to a meeting in half an hour and this was only a flying visit – I'll ring you when I next have a spare moment ok and we could like 'hang' for a bit, if you wanted?"
"That would be great Dudley, here's my number and sure come by whenever!" Harry responded.
Dudley drove away in his Porsche, and a girl pottered out of Harry's house.
"Was that Dudley?" she asked.
"Yeah, and I hope we can get along – but at the least, we'll be on Christmas Card terms for the rest of our lives!" Harry joked to the girl who had her arms around him, who then leaned around and gave him a kiss. "God, I love you!" he murmured, and pulled her close for a kiss!
