AN: Howdy darlings!
Here's something short and sweet for you:)
Disclaimer: I do not own Vampire Academy or its characters. Everything belongs to Richelle Mead.
"It's always a good time to think about you naked," my best friend Eddie remarked, referring to Rose Hathaway. That's right. Rose Hathaway – the myth, the legend, the girl I've been in love with for, well, forever – was back. She was here, at St. Vladimir's, standing not 10 feet in front of me. Belikov, the god, had actually pulled through and brought her back to me- um, I mean, the Academy.
I briefly shot my friend a death glare. He was teasing of course, Eddie would never objectify Rose's...body like that. Not when he knew about my feelings for her. Also, he just wasn't that kind of person. Compared to all of the other novices, Eddie was a down right gentleman – previous comment aside. But still, my meaningful look let him know that his remark was unappreciated. His return shrug said, Well, what do you want me to say? She started it.
That was true. Rose had started the suggestive language the moment she'd walked into the room. Her phraseology certainly hadn't matured along with her, well, her...um...cut me some slack okay! I'm a teenage boy that is cooped up in an academy for most of the year where there is a very unhealthy ratio of guys and girls. Not to mention that the last time I saw her she was 15. I mean, even back then she was the hottest girl in the school. Hands down. But now? Well, now, two years later, she was the epitome of...sexiness? While that was absolutely true (dear heavens, that was true), sexy seemed too brash a term for Rose. She was…
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
Dark eyes landed on mine and held me. Her lips pulled upwards into an affectionate smile that was directed at me. The she winked in a very Rose-ish way and turned to the group of questioning novices surrounding her.
Wow, I'd missed her.
AN: Let me know what you thought!
But before people start accusing me of shipping Rose and Mason, let me clarify: Romitri is endgame always, but I will always love (and miss) Mason. Seeing him again in the 10th Anniversary edition was truly a blessing.
Love you guys! Have a fantastic day!
