I woke up on Monday after having a nightmare similar to this story. Tuesday I had the same nightmare so I decided to write it down. This morning, no nightmare so I figured I might as well tweek what I had and post it.

"Edward what is that noise?" The sun made his smile all the more brilliant when he laughed in response.
Beep
"It's your alarm clock silly. Time for the human to wake up!"
Beep
I opened my eyes to be greeted by the same sight that I had just been dreaming about only better, much better.
Beep
"Mmm, where is the off switch?" I was awarded with another laugh
Beep
"It's your own alarm clock and you don't know how to turn it off? You were able to do it yesterday"
Beep
I rolled my eyes and sat up hitting the off switch on the way. Mondays, I hate Mondays.
"Edward, I feel like I am forgetting something."
"Well let's see, is all your homework done love?"
"Yah, but it was something I needed to do yesterday but didn't." I looked at the clock as I said this.
"Oh no! Edward how could you!"
"What?"
I didn't answer him. I jumped up and ran to the bathroom slamming the door as hard as I could. How could he! This is the kind of joke I would expect Emmett to pull, not Edward!
I completed my human moment in record time and dashed back out of the bathroom only half dressed. When I got back to my room Edward was standing by my bed with a hurt look on his face.
"Bella I don't understand, what did I do?" As he asked as I finished putting my jacket and socks on. I then grabbed my backpack and ran down the stairs.
"Bella slow down you are going to hurt yourself!" I grabbed some pop tarts and shoved my feet in my shoes.
"Ok I am ready! Come on lets go, we probably won't even be late with the way you drive." I yelled as I ran out the door and to his car.
"Bella, school doesn't start for another hour." He said following close behind me.
"No it was daylight savings yesterday! I forgot to reset my clock." I said coming to a stop. It was dark but I could still make out his confused expression as it slowly turned into an amused one.
"Yes Bella I know." Wait, it's dark out? There should be some light outside. Wasn't that the point?
"I set your clock for you love. School starts in an hour." He was laughing when he said this. Cue the blush.
"Oh, well thanks! You could have told me you know." I walked back inside and then into the kitchen. If I had time I might as well make something instead of pop tarts.
"Yes well I would have except you move quite fast when you are in a hurry."
"Not as fast as you."
"True. I do love it when you blush!" Great, now I probably looked like a tomato.
