DEW Challenge: Castiel and Jack & Thanksgiving turkey
Castiel and Jack decided to give the Winchesters a well-deserved break for Thanksgiving. 150-word drabble.

The Thanksgiving Turkey
Jack stifled a yawn. You had to get up early to beat Dean to a hunt.
Castiel pointed to a run-down house. "I overheard Sam say that's the vampire nest. If we're quick, we can decapitate them before they wake, and be back in the bunker in time to serve pancakes."
"Wait," hissed Jack. "Someone's coming."
A young man, sporting an embroidered frock coat, strode up to the front door and used an ornate cane to knock loudly upon it. "Noble immortals! I humbly beseech that you share with me your dark trick!"
Jack and Castiel groaned, but readied their weapons and ran to protect the too-willing victim.

"Who's this?" asked Sam, accepting a crumpled take-out bag from Jack, while eyeing the stranger supported by Castiel. The trio was bruised, bloodied and needed a good wash.
Castiel and Jack looked at each other. "The Thanksgiving Turkey," they replied in unison.
