Prologue:

Tairo looked out over the burning moutains. Yet another land that had been completely destroyed by his unrelenting power. He dug his nails into his palms as he heard the shrieking cry of a mortal child. He leapt from his peak and began to sniff out the scent of the human child. He found it under a burning piece of wood, being clutched by a human woman. The Young female human was crying. Tairo lifted the chin of the woman, who shivered as his nail harmlessly scratched her skin, "What's your name, little human?" Tairo hissed, an evil smile spreading across his face.

"Izayoi..." the woman said, clutching the child closer to her. Tairo smiled and stroked the side of her face. She was an interesting specimen, one of the humans who Tairo almost didn't want to kill. But he wasn't about to leave one of their tainted species alive.

"And who is your precious child?" Tairo asked, ever so sweetly. He knew that the act wasn't nessisary, the human knew he was going to kill her, "He must have a perfect name, must he not?"

"His... his name is Inuyasha..." the woman said quietly. Tairo took a closer look at the child and his gaze went cold. A half-demon was wrapped tightly in the blankets, his silver ears up stiff and his mouth was open in an insistant wail. The wail was irritating and it made his sensitive ears twitch, but that wasn't the thing that irritated him the most about the baby. He had the biggest problem with the looks of the child. The silvery color of his hair and the gold in his eyes... it was the same features of the man who left his sister to die. Madoka... the beauty of Navolia.

"Inutaisho..." Tairo muttered angrily, "I see the connection. Inutaisho was his father, wasn't he... WASN'T HE?!" the human shivered and scooted backwards, "I hate that man... after what he did to my sister. HE WILL PAY!!" Tairo looked at the woman fiercely and her eyes widened in fear, "You had best get out of here. There is nothing here for you or that thing Inutaisho caused. I'd get rid of it if I were you."

The human stood up quickly and ran as fast as she could away. Tairo grabbed a piece of burning wood and crushed it to dust with his fingers. Why had he let the creature go? He was going to kill it anyway. Unless of course, his dear nephew, the half-Navol that Inutaisho also cause, decided to kill him. Tairo wouldn't blame him at all, but he wasn't going to let the half-breed have all the fun. Tairo turned and walked away from the mountain village.
