"Chouji!" He inwardly cringed as Ino rushed towards him. It wasn't so much that he didn't want to see her. Just...he wasn't really keen for another lecture on his weight.

"Hey, Ino" Chouji ground out.

Taken aback, Ino stopped running towards him. Maybe it was just her, but Chouji had sounded slightly hostile; a rare occurence for the large boy.

Sometimes, Ino could be annoying. And she cared way too much about looks. But she could still give good advice, and had a way of being a comfort to those who were upset. Chouji had had a crush on Ino, since they were about six years old. But he had always been too embarrassed to ask her out.

Once, Chouji had come close to telling her how he felt. 'One step, two steps, three steps.' he had told himself. Looking at her, he suddenly noticed how skinny she was. He chose not to mention it, though.

"Ino, I think-"

"Wow, Chouji, I never noticed before, but...you're fat!"

And just like that, Chouji's confidence was crushed by Ino. Walking away, he realized something.

"That's why they're called crushes, I guess." he muttered.

"Chouji?"

"Huh?" Chouji snapped out of his thoughts.

"Do you want to go to Ichiraku's with me?"

"I thought ramen was too fattening." spat Chouji bitterly.

"Well, it's okay if you only eat a little bit."

Chouji just glared. That had sounded like something completely different. Perhaps an insult.

"So? You coming?"

Chouji finally gave in. He couldn't help it, he still had a weak spot for Ino.

Well, i had a bit of fun writing that chapter. If you think it's bad, that's probably because I wrote it at 11:00 at night. So...yeah. 2 reviews is my chapter fee, so review! And get ready for the next chapter, 'Mr. Right, Mr. Who?'
