A/N: Hey! Another quick little poem I came up with. I'm never this fast with my stuff; writing two fics in under a week is unheard of for me... I'm guessing the P3 cast is working its magic or something. :P

Anyway, this time, it's Yukari taking the center stage. The scene in the very beginning of the game, where Yukari is trying to evoke her Persona, is actually one of my favorite scenes in the game. I thought I'd take some creative liberties with her thoughts during the scene (I hope I haven't butchered it too badly...) and this is the end product. If you'd like, you can review if you want to give me feedback. ...I looove feedback. :3

I hope you enjoy!

Nothing but her thoughts to keep her company
As she presses her back to her desk,
Sweating, gasping; she feels Nervous –
yes, could be Nervous, possibly.

"Or is it Fear?"
A voice, a gun, pointedly staring
"You're afraid, young girl!" And it cackles,
Licks its lips, feels victory.

Sensations, she feels
Incantations, she murmurs;
Hot hands, Cold steel
And only "put it to my head" is heard openly –

"You'll never win, young girl!"
The brilliance of silver
Blinds her, chokes her! "And you'll never get away!"
If only it were Nervous! If only!

A million Damn You's
And she's a deer stuck in headlights
The gun, still staring
But she can't even see

"Anyone? Anyone there?" she cries
But no, there is no one; she detects
Not a trace of a person
And there's nothing but her thoughts to keep her company.

And Fear is there
This time she knows it
Not Nervous! she takes deep breaths
As Fear licks its chops; hungrily

"You won't do it", "You're too scared"
"You" "You" "You" I'll kill you, "You"
And she has the gun in her grasp
Teeth gritted shoulders locked, trembling (slightly)

Hot head, Cold fingers
She feels, She tastes,
And all the world
Stops

The Dark Hour,
that's what she's in for
And she knows
yes, she does

But she can't
And she's heaving;
And the world
has started moving again
And that could be vomit
And that could be Fear
laughing
"I knew it", "You couldn't"
Reeling, her thoughts are

I could have done it

But the moment is over
And Fear has won.
