Six years, that's how long it's been since he'd seen the island he'd once called home, and now he was going back. "Why did I let them talk me into this." The man said to himself as he looked to the island on the he looked to the Island on the horizon from the sea stack his team was camped for the night. He suddenly heard a familiar crooning looking back he saw a black dragon which he had called his best friend. "I'm alright Toothless, I just have a lot of bad memories about this place." he then left his spot on the edge and made his way back to camp where four tents were set up around a fire and two members of his little band sat in front of it. One was a man with white hair, blue eyes, dressed in a brown cloak, a white woolen shirt brown pants, and a small brown open vest, and holding a cain-like stick. The other was woman with long, curly red hair, blue eyes, and dressed in a blue nightgown.

Toothless looked to were the other dragons were sleeping. One was female and had the appearance of a feline with red scales, two wings and a blade like tip on her tail; The humans called her Elinor.

Another dragon was named Frostfire, a white bipedal dragon, bigger than himself. two wings, a long slender neck, and a long tail.

The last dragon was a light brown quadruped that Toothless considered his rival, and his name was Flynn, he was the only dragon that was able to even tie with him in a match of speed on the ground, or the sky.

The white-haired man saw his comrade approaching. "Can't sleep Hiccup?" he asked.

"No Jack, I can't, and it's all your fault." Hiccup said, not really in the mood for Jacks childish antics.

"Stop being such a bairn," The red-haired woman said in a Scottish accent. "The vote was five to one."

"I left that place for a reason, Merida." Hiccup retorted. "The people there are stubborn mules who only respect muscle."

"How is that any different from DunBroch?" Merida countered. "I'm not some weak lass who can't take care of herself."

Hiccup let out a groan, "I'm not going to win, am I?"

"We've been to everyone else's home but yours, what did they do to you that was so bad?" Merida questioned in a tone that told Hiccup that she wasn't going to stop asking until she got answers.

"It's not what they did, per say, it's what they didn't do."

"Keep it down you guy's." said a man poking his head out of a tent. He dark brown hair and a scruffy goatee. "Rapunzel just went to sleep."

"Sorry Eugene, but can we talk about the trip to Berk?" Hiccup asked, desperate to get out of his predicament.

"Can't it wait until tomorrow, it's late." Eugene said before going back into the tent.

"He's right, we'd best be get'n to bed." Merida said as he stood from her spot and hurriedly went to her tent.

"Sorry Hiccup" Jack said backing away to his tent. "but Tooth might be getting cold and what kind of man would that make me if I didn't make sure my wife wasn't comfortable."

"Traitors." Hiccup said under his breath then rubbed the bridge of his nose. "After six years I have to go back to this Helhiem?" Hiccup let out another sigh before deciding to go to bed. He'd need his full strength for tomorrow, when he returns to the place he once called home.
