Ch.1 – Cursed Bath
"Mother please try not to move!" A feminine-looking male with long blonde hair and blue eyes warns an older woman covered in sweat. "Why didn't you tell anyone you were going to have a baby?"
"I didn't want you to worry since you performed surgery for the last one." She whispers weakly.
"I-I'm not sure how to help you mother! This baby will tare our the stitches!" Yukimaru panics.
"I will tend to her." A voice states calmly from the doorway. There stands a figure with long black hair pulled back in dark blue robes and a monk's staff with rings on it. "Everyone must leave the room for me to attend to her."
"You have no right to run in here sir! This is a family crisis!" Yukimaru snaps.
"This is a matter of life and death and I am a holy being. If you want your mother to live you will have to trust me with her."
A few hours later, with everyone in hysterics at this point, the door opens to reveal a tired woman and her sleeping newborn. "Please" The woman grabs ahold of the monk's sleeve. "Will you name my little girl?"
"Rin." He smiles.
"Please sir, let us thank you for your help."
"That's quite alright. Knowing that you will be able to watch your little one grow is enough."
"I insist. We will prepare dinner and a room for the night. It's the least I can do."
"…As long as you make sure you rest."
Later that evening, after a dinner filled with chatter from the numerous ladies, Yukimaru is leading the man through the house supposedly to a room. "You never gave us your name, traveler."
"…Kagome." He replies hesitantly.
"My name is Yukimaru, I must apologize for my behavior earlier. I was fearful of losing a mother."
"You were only protecting a loved one, there's no need to be sorry for such an act."
"Well then, I'm sorry we're not going to your room." He opens a door to reveal a hot spring bath room, with all the ladies already waiting in the water.
"…noes…"
"Enjoy your bath sir."
"Wait, why?"
"Its complimentary for saving my new sister."
"But –" Before Kagome can say anything she's dragged over to the springs and they start to pull at her clothes reguardless of her struggles. She pauses when a string of gasps echoes off the wall, taking into account that her arms and back have been exposed, showing off many scars and one of the latest wounds have been reopened near her collar bone. In her stopped movements someone also manages to pull off the binding in front of her, revealing her to be a woman and not a man as they thought.
"Oh my!" One of them remarks. "My poor girl, what happened to you? Someone get Yukimaru quick!" She yells as Kagome starts to lose focus from blood loss. "Hang on! We'll take care of you!"
The last think Kagome sees is Yukimaru's stunned face.
