An extremely short one shot on the fall of the Berlin wall, I wanted to do this for Fall Of Berlin Wall day but it's a bit late. Happy (belated) Fall of The Berlin Wall day, boys and girls. Enjoy!

Warnings: Probably terrible, contains headcanons, fluff.

Reunited

The date was November 9, 1989. Prussia stood beside a car watching his people, who were all crowded near the wall all of them working together to break it down, his brothers people doing the same on the other side.

"Go." A Russian accented voice said from beside Prussia. Gilbert looked over to Ivan in somewhat surprise, then he smiled placing a hand on the Russian's arm before running towards the wall. Prussia stopped on the outskirts of the crowd, looking back briefly to the Russian then pushing his way to the front of the crowd.

Germany stood outside the crowd of people happily being reunited with their loved ones. He scanned the crowd, seeing many happy face, but none were the one he was looking for. Unable to contain himself anymore, Ludwig began to push his way through the crowd, aiming to get closer so he would see his brother quicker. Desperately, Germany looked around the crowd of people turning this way and that trying to find his big brother. For a brief moment, Ludwig felt like a child again looking for his brother after his armies came back from another war. Then the moment vanished as he felt a hand on his shoulder.

Ludwig whipped around so fast he should have got whiplash. There, standing before him as proud as always-if not a bit thinner-was Gilbert. Ludwig had another deja vu moment, seeing Prussia standing before him in his military uniform after yet another war. Throwing his usually calm composure out the window, Ludwig dived at his older brother, just like he used to when he was younger. Causing both of them to fall to the ground, Gilbert laughed and hugged his brother in return. Neither willing to let go, as if afraid the other would disappear if they did.

They were finally reunited, and they'd be damned if they lost each other again. The worries of being a nation still loomed over them, but for the moment they were merely humans with family.

That's all folks! I told you it was short. Pairings are not intended, but you can see it that way, I guess. Until the next story!
