This fic was written for Spinner2009 because she brought in 300 points during the January contests over at the Hideaway, helping Hufflepuff win the House Cup for the month. As a very grateful Head of House, I agreed to write a ficlet for each member of my house who brought in 200 or points or more. Look for an Albus/Minerva ficlet and two Draco/Harry fics coming soon for three other deserving Hufflpuffs.

Thank you Spinner! I hope you like what I've written. The title was Sprinkle's idea, though she was only joking.

Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters, though I wish I did.

Remus Lupin sighed in relief and exhaustion as the final Order member left the house. He made sure to lock the front door and then headed up the stairs to the library. A meeting had just ended and no one had been happy with the reports that had been brought in. Remus was merely glad it was finally over.

He entered the library and poured himself a glass of wine before sinking down onto one of the couches. Sirius Black was sitting in a chair opposite the couch and he glared at the Remus as he sat down.

"Something wrong Sirius?" Remus asked, noticing the look he was receiving.

Sirius looked away and said nothing. Remus sighed.

"All right then," he said, "sit and sulk. You can tell me what's bothering you when you're ready."

Sirius shot another look of venom at Remus and then jumped to his feet.

"You encourage her, don't you? Just to make me jealous!"

Remus looked up at the other man with a bemused expression.

"Sirius, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Who have I been encouraging?"

"My cousin's silly daughter, Tonks," Sirius growled. "She has a crush on you and you know it! You've been leading her on instead of telling her straight off that you're not available."

Remus laughed.

"First off, Tonks is not silly. A bit clumsy yes, but she is a very bright young woman and…"

"And there you go defending her!"

"I'm not defending her, I'm merely pointing out that she is not the idiot everyone thinks her to be. I thought you liked her, Sirius."

"I did, until she started flirting with you!"

"So you're jealous? Is that it?" Remus asked coyly.

Sirius scowled and looked away.

"Sirius, you know I would never intentionally lead anyone on," said Remus soothingly. "I'm sorry if it seems that way. I didn't think you wanted me to tell anyone about our relationship, but if it would make you feel better I could tell Tonks and then she would know I'm not available."

Sirius looked at Remus for a moment and then smiled and shook his head.

"I'm sorry Remus," he said, flopping down on the couch next to the werewolf. "I'm just frustrated with the way things are right now and I took it out on you. I know you wouldn't intentionally lead her on."

Remus wrapped his arms around Sirius and buried his head in the other man's neck. They sat cuddled up like that for several minutes until Remus smiled wickedly and spoke in a seemingly thoughtful voice.

"Do you really think she likes me? Because I'm rather partial to pink hair."

Sirius growled and pinned Remus to the couch.

"Don't even think about it," Sirius told him, holding the other man's arms down. "You belong to me."

He leaned down and kissed Remus firmly. When the kiss finally ended both men were panting.

Remus grinned.

"I love it when you're jealous."

The End
