"Yomi!" Mato yelled, running up to the tall girl. "Yomi, wait up!" Yomi turned around; "What?" she asked. "Yomi, I'm so sorry, I didn't realize.." Mato looked down, tears forming in her eyes. Yomi looked at her, trying her hardest to contain a cold stare. "What do you mean?" "No! Yomi, please, don't pretend.." Mato sank to her knees, sobbing. Yomi broke. She couldn't stand it anymore. SHe hated the feeling of being pushed away, and she knew it wasn't purposely, but that made it worse. She didn't want to be mad at Mato, she knew she shouldn't be mad. But she was. "Do you REALIZE how much PAIN you put me through?!" Yomi screamed, she felt so bad for doing so, but she couldn't contain her anger. "Yomi.." Mato looked up. "Yomi, I didn't mean to put you through that, I didn't know!" She put her head in her hands. "Watching the one I love, just talk to another girl and push me away.. Do you realize how hard that is?" Yomi began to cry. Mato got up, and looked at Yomi. She stood there for a second, but then began walking closer to Yomi, until there was barely a gap between them. "Yomi.. I.. I love you." Mato said this in barely a whisper, and before Yomi could respond, Mato kissed her. Yomi's eyes opened in shock, but then she understood what was happening, and kissed back. Mato pulled back. "I'm sorry." She looked down. Yomi wiped her tears from her eyes and embraced Mato. "No, it's alright." She smiled, even though she knew Mato couldn't see her.
