Ch.1 – Dance of Fate
"My Lord, you must learn to dance." Sebastian pushes.
"Dancing is useless." Ciel snaps. "There's also no way for me to learn with you because we're both male and your too tall."
"I have secured a dance partner for you. She is waiting for tea."
"You invited a Lady here without my permission?"
"Do not worry young master. She is an old friend."
"….friend?" Ciel allows Sebastian to steer him into the library where he finds a young woman with long blue-black hair and deep brown eyes in a black and blue layered floor-length kimono. "Who are you?"
"I am Kagome. I am here to teach you how to dance, Lord Phantomhive." She bows.
"What is your connection to Sebastian?"
"Hmm… well he did try to eat me once…" She taps her bottom lip in a thoughtful manner. "Although I'd much rather learn about you. Life is boring nowadays. How did you find him?"
"That's none of your business."
"Unlike your butler, I'm not a demon. I'm a highly sought after miko and if you do not meet my demands I will sever him from you."
"What would you dare take from a parentless child?" Ciel attempts to guilt her.
"I'd hardly call you a child, but I just want a key to your library. I'm sure a friend of Sebby's would have an interesting collection to amuse me."
"…You do not ask for riches." He narrows his eyes at her.
"No. Just a good read." She smiles. "If you would Sebby?" She nods her head at the demon butler before he whips out a violin and begins to play. "Shall we?" She extends her hand to Ciel. "Unlike your dear pet I can promise I don't bite on the first meeting."
