Ten
We did not anticipate it's beginning,
But we were there at the end.
And through all the twists and turns,
We were lucky enough to make friends.
From Hugh's audition in a bathroom,
To performances delivered with emotion and skill,
He created a character so intricate and nuanced,
That we are trying to diagnose him still.
All the people who graced the screen,
Into our lives came and went,
Chase, Cameron, Foreman, Thirteen, and Cuddy
Our time with them was well spent.
Adams, Park, Masters, Kutner and Taub,
All made memories for us, too.
But there is one other person
Without whom House just couldn't do.
House and Wilson had more facets to their friendship,
Then there are stars in the night sky.
They brought us to many places,
Made us laugh, made us cry.
Wilson was more than House's Watson,
More even than just a friend,
I would call James Wilson his brother,
And he was with House to the very end.
Our journey with Dr. Gregory House was
Sadly forced to conclude.
We had one last moment of brilliance,
One last time to hear him be rude.
The eight amazing years we had meant so much,
No words could do justice as to why.
But when the final scene faded to black,
We sat, and watched as down our cheeks the tears went by.
