Summary: She was dieing, and he was beginning to realize……
"Shit, shit, shit…no, don't you dare give up on me now Sakura!"
"What about becoming a strong, dependable kunoichi, what about rescuing Sasuke, what about Kakashi…what….what about…me?" Naruto whispered through broken sobs.
There was blood everywhere, on the ground, on Sakura's clothes and body; it covered Naruto hands, as he tried pumping more oxygen into his friends lungs.
There was no denying it; Sakura was surely going to die.
He was there, watching as his former teammate tried desperately to mend what was left of Sakura. He could hear distinctly the sound Sakura's blood passing throughout her veins.
A ragged breath, her heart slowly pumping, a gasp, the raindrops falling down speedily, the wind passing through his hair roughly, and then for the tiniest second, everything stopped….
As he stood there watching, he couldn't help but cry.
He remembered everything, her smile, her scent, her laugh, though she was a bit annoying at times, she was always compassionate. Every time he looked into her lively green eyes, he saw her soul, which in turn would warm his own.
He realized, at that moment, in the tiniest second, that he loved that girl….
As he saw her battered form on the ground, he moved Naruto aside; he knelt down and grabbed the young woman's face, he stared at her dull green eyes, which held both pain, and peace. Her heart was slowing down, but he continued to stare at her eyes, her soul was both warm yet cold, and peace washed over him.
She breathed once more, squeezed his hand with all of her might.
He could've sworn he heard the words, "Your Welcome."
Sakura was dead. And he finally realized…..he would never love a woman more than Sakura Haruno, the compassionate pink headed kunoichi.
AN: Hopefully it wasn't too depressing, sorry guys I'm just really corny,

Ps.
Sakura did say 'Your Welcome', because when Sasuke left Leaf, the last words he said to Sakura were 'Sakura, Thank You'. Just wanted to clear that up with you guys.
