Don't Leave Me

A/N: Poem by me, my take on how Petunia felt about Lily. This is at Lily's funeral.

Remember when we used to play together outside in the warm sun,
Enjoying each other's company and having lots of fun.
I used to love those times they were as unique as paintings on the wall,
But when you got that letter, my world began to fall.
You went off to that school, you still wrote me letters here and there,
I could not hide my emotions, so I began to not care.
Over vacations you came, I was mean and rude,
You were always nice to me because you were kind and true.
On your wedding day I saw you with tears in my eyes,
You were no longer my baby sister, I thought as I said my good byes.
As the years had gone by, we grew more apart,
But still remember I loved you with all of my heart.
I still cry for you Lily dear,
Please know this that even though it seemed that I hated you, I still wish now that you were here.
I'll love you always Lily, where ever you may be,
I wish I could tell you this earlier, but please don't leave me.
