The door was stuck. His sister's face pressed against the glass, her blond hair caked with blood. His tried to pull the door open. If he would've waited, she wouldn't have gotten stuck. "Come on", Lincoln grunted. She managed to find a hole in the side of the glass, and she put her fingers through it, squeezing Lincoln's hand.
He grabbed it and stared into her eyes. "You're going to make it L-. His stopped as the zombies saw her. They stumbled toward her, their dead hands yearning for fresh meat. He slipped his hand through the glass and gave her his gun. She gave it back. "You need it she said. The first one reached her. It grabbed her shoulder. She didn't fight back. She knew a lost cause when she saw one. "Run", she said. It bit into her shoulder, and blood spurted across the glass. More came and piled against the glass.
The glass shattered with the weight, and the zombies and her fell into the street. She screamed for him to run, and he looked at her face, bloodied and bitten. She smiled weakly as blood dripped from her mouth. And then her face was eaten. He ran. Away from his dead sister. And back towards safety.
