Chapter 1: The Criminals

The "Loot" would have normally been shared equally between all three of the men to avoid arguments and infighting, this system worked well with things like gold or clothing but not all things are to be shared.

Since finding this particular "Loot" the men began eyeing each other up, evaluating weaknesses and strengths, the usual after-raid chatter about who killed the most men or who killed the strongest man was gone, they were silent as they headed back to camp.

The men walked in a loose formation an Imperial leading dragging the "Loot" by a rope with a Nord and Redguard hanging back a few feet on either side.

The Nord was called Battle-Hammer a mountain of a man with a chunky face, long blond hair, blue eyes and a muscular body encased in thick heavy armor, making him seem even larger. Seemingly unstoppable in a fight using his superior strength and weight to his advantage, swinging a mace with shear brutality, crushing anyone stupid enough to stand in his way. He was the very personification of his name, but he was slow in both movement and in mind, even so you would not dare say such a thing to his face and expect to live.

The Redguard known as "Red" was the polar opposite, small and wiry body with an angled face, green eyes and short black hair shaved to the scalp, he was wearing a thin layer of chain freeing up his actions. Fast, quick and sneaky his movements would make it hard to doge his attacks and even harder to hit him back.

The third, the Imperial was unimportant as –following a signal from Red- Battle-Hammer brought his mace down on the poor man`s head snapping his spine, making his head split open causing a crack and a squelch before falling heavily to the ground.

Battle-Hammer looked proud, smiling numbly replaying the memory of the crack as the mace hit over and over in his mind each time, giving him have a warm and comforting feeling in his gut, only gained from murder.

Red stepped forward to examine the Imperials body taking a meager amount of gold and a book "Dirty bastard `The Lusty Argonion maid` ha!" said Red, his voice had slight weasy sound when he breathed, before covertly sliding the book into his bag I hope this is the uncensored version he thought before turning his attention to the unconscious form of the "loot"; the woman never knew what hit her.

In fact what had hit her was a saucepan from her own kitchen, wielded by Red while his cohorts massacred the rest of the small village. He had bound her before telling the others of his plan to bring her back, to make her into their own personal slave.

What they did not know was that two people were watching. Preparing.
