A Twilight Renesmee's Graduation One-Shot

By; TwilightsNeverEndingSagaLover

((I wrote this based on what I feel my own upcoming graduation day would be like if I really was Renesmee. This is a cute one-shot/fluff as she prepares to graduate high school, and enter the next phase of her life. Renesmee remembers all that she has accomplished in life, and relishes in old childhood memories as graduation day comes upon her. Please remember to rate, review, and/or like. I also do NOT own Twilight or it's amazing characters.))

Renesmee's POV

As I waited for my name to be called; I couldn't help but think about how far I have came in life. No longer was I the little toddler whom loved to play Barbies and house with Jacob all day. No longer was I the insecure pre-teen entering middle school/public schools for the first time since my growth slowed. No longer was I the terrified four year old who appeared to be fifteen entering the drama filled high school for the first time. I was fully grown now, and the scary thought of having my whole life in front of me entered my mind. But the thought only lasted less than a mere second for I quickly shoved the thought away for I knew my family would always be there for me- no matter what.

"Renesmee Carlie Cullen."

My heart skipped a beat as I both nervously and excitingly waltzed over, shook hands with the person giving out the diplomas, and was congratulated as I received it.

In that moment if was as if time itself ceased to exist. I remembered when I was little and graduated from La Push Preschool with the werewolf pups since none of us could have gone to regular preschool. I remembered the excitement and joy in the atmosphere, receiving my little diploma, and tossing my six year old (really I had been only six months old, but still…) graduation cap into the air. With my vamparic clarity I could remember that moment as if it had happened yesterday.

A lot has changed since then. I have learned how to play the piano, sing, dance, swim, to run when Alice mentions the words dress up, and how to make sure I get good grades or mommy and daddy would sick Emmett on me- so not fun!

I still couldn't quite get over the fact that I truly was growing up, and had just now finished 12+ years of schooling. It still felt like yesterday that I was playing with wooden spoons on the Cullen's kitchen floor. As I tossed my graduation cap up into the air; I couldn't help but be proud of myself. I had done so much, and now I couldn't wait until the party. After all I definitely deserved a humongous party that I would be certain that Alice would be throwing. Oh boy I couldn't wait- not!
