Everyone knows that Tohru Honda is a beautiful, kind high school girl without a malicious bone in her body…right?
Well…mostly.
What no one but Hana and Uo knew was Tohru's past; the past of a kind little girl who would…change when her family was in trouble. The first time that Uo and Hana had seen this different Tohru was when they were hanging out in a park and the local gang had circled them, taunting them because they wanted Arisa. The girls had fought, Hana with her waves, Arisa with her beloved pipe, but they were making little headway until Tohru became involved. Both girls had been injured and Tohru herself had taken some hits, but when the leader of the gang had raised her switch as if to end Saki and Arisa, Tohru had snapped.
Tohru changed into what Arisa and Saki would later dub 'Demon Diva'.
Her eyes darkened to a cobalt blue, and her hair rose on the back of her neck. She growled low in her throat, her fingers curling into a claw-like configuration. She looked very much like her feral-type cousin, who had gone to the United States for business, and the grin that she shot at their attackers was enough to make even Arisa and Saki to shudder at the sight of their friend and savior.
"You should not have attacked my friends. "

What followed could not have been called a fight in any way, shape or form.
Tohru had annihilated the gang, one and two at a time. Her fists and feet flew in the katas that her elder cousin had shown her before her departure and the impacts echoed into the night air as each gang member hit the turf. The fight was over in less than five minutes as none of the gang members could hold against the angered angel.

After the fight, Tohru asked that Arisa and Saki never mention it to anyone and the girls adhered to that agreement and it never happened again. When Kyoko died, Tohru's confidence level bottomed out and the Demon Diva retreated even further into the back of Tohru's mind, making her lose the spark of aggression in her eyes that she'd held being raised by her mother. The two had watched as their beloved friend had slowly started to isolate herself, cutting herself off and overworking herself far too much for either of her friends' likings. They were surprised at the resurgence of that missing spark when she started living with the Sohmas. It was just a little spark, but it was back and the two girls, the yankee and the psychic, were glad to see it. They watched it flourish as she became comfortable in the Sohma household and they would occasionally get glances of the Demon Diva when 'Prince' Yuki's fanclub would begin to get out of control; and as dangerous and violent as Diva could be, they knew that it could only be good for Tohru that she was returning.
They knew that Tohru didn't want the Sohma's to know about Diva and they respected that.
However, they had no doubt that one day, someone would threaten one of them and, as much as Tohru loved the odd family…Diva would probably make a prolonged appearance.
Arisa couldn't wait.
