The sun was shining in the Kirkland household. You could hear the birds singing their songs as a beautiful wake-up call. The perfect morning for them, correct? No. The two children that Arthur was raising at the time were running around the house and screaming at each other, all because one had hit the other. "Alfred, Elizabeth. Please calm down you two..." Arthur groggily said as he had woken up from their screams.
Elizabeth was the girl and Arthur's blood relative baby sister. She had long, wavy dark brown hair that flowed to her middle back with a small curl sticking out. Their mother had died what poor Elizabeth was very little so Arthur was raising her since she was around two years of age. Right now she was 5, along side her nephew, Alfred. Arthur had adopted twins with his lover, Francis. There were Alfred, who was the older twin and very overprotective with a love of superheroes, and then there was Madeline, who was much more timid and the younger of the two twins. They were both blonde, while the older brother bared cerulean blue eyes and the younger sister bared beautiful blue-violet eyes. Francis would come over and visit them with Madeline every other weekend, and then the three children would play for hours upon hours in happiness as the two adults conversed. After the weekend was over, everyone bid their farewells and they were back into the normal routines.
Right now, Alfred and Elizabeth were still making chaos until Elizabeth saw Arthur then ran up to hug him. "Morning Arthur~!" She said cheerfully as a bump was on Alfred's head and a bat was on the floor. He sighed and looked at his sister. "Elizabeth did you hit Alfred?" He questioned her as she got a bit nervous but nodded as her head bowed in shame of being caught. Alfred laughed as the emerald-eyed blonde older brother and father looked at him sternly. He stopped looking at his son and went back to turning his gaze upon his baby sister. She looked up to him. "I'm sorry Arthur..." She said. "The one you should be apologizing to is Alfred, okay darling?" He said softly. She turned to Alfred and looked at him with her burgundy eyes locked on his blue ones. "I'm sorry for hitting you Alfred..." She said. "It's okay, Liz!" Alfred said cheerfully while giving his idiot smile. She smiled softly back and looked up to her brother. "Now don't do that again, okay?" Arthur said as she nodded. "I promise I won't~!" She cheerfully outburst. He smiled softly and hugged her. "Good...now who wants breakfast~?" He said. "Me!" The two children shouted as they ran into the kitchen. Arthur chuckled and went in the kitchen as well to make them breakfast and get his morning tea.
