Yes, I know I haven't been to you for a while but I've been working really hard on some other fics. But it's given me a chance to come up with some new ideas!

KFee: Oh no . . .

More than Just Friends
Sparx tossed and turned, trying to get comfortable. But it was no use. The words he had said to her just wouldn't stop ringing in his head.
"I'm glad I have you. As my friend."
AS MY FRIEND?!
How could he have been so stupid? He was so close! And he'd blown it completely! Sparx groaned in frustration, angry tears coming to his eyes.
He'd almost lost her.
He never thought he'd see her again.
It was just three words! Just three stupid words that could've changed everything! But it was too late now. The battle was still on. It was frustrating because deep down inside of him, Sparx knew that they were meant to be more than just friends. He loved her. And although it wasn't obvious, he knew she loved him too. How else could he explain it. Sure she always hit him and said insulting things to him but that was just her way of flirting.
The most frustrating thing for Sparx was that when she had fallen, he seemed to be the only one who cared. Wasn't it obvious. Chiro didn't say anything about her. Otto was unusually happy about it. Gibson didn't seem to care when he said there were no signs of her. And Antauri . . . why else would he have ordered Sparx not to go out looking for her?
Because none of them cared.
They didn't even seem bothered when she suddenly appeared out of nowhere only to get knocked out again. She nearly died but his "teammates" were too focused on helping Sparx instead.
Why was he the only one who cared about her?
Why couldn't anyone else understand that?
Sparx miserably sank his head into the pillow. 'Yes,' he thought to himself sadly 'we are meant to be more than just friends.'
