INTRODUCTION: This fanfic was inspired by one of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite movies, "Love Actually".

THE CASE: Danny and Lindsay are working on the case of a murdered groom, Toby Gelman, shot dead in the middle of the wedding ceremony. All of the guests were tested for gunshot residue and only one person tested positive, Harold Bennett, who was taking video footage of the wedding at the time. Harold Bennett was Toby Gelman's bestfriend. Harold Bennett claimed that he was indeed the shooter.

Danny and Lindsay took the video footage from Harold Bennett's camera.

Lindsay sat on the couch with her arms crossed, rewinding then fast-forwarding the footage before her. Danny walks in and sits beside her.

"The weirdest thing" Danny started "Gunshot residue on Harold Bennet was found on just one hand".

"But the slug was from a rifle" Lindsay remarked. "He must have a pretty strong arm."

"Even weirder" Danny said "Gunshot residue was found on his right hand. Witnesses say they saw Bennett taking footage with the video camera on his right hand. He'd have to have two right hands to carry a rifle and a camera at the same time"

"So he can't be the shooter" Lindsay answered.

"It's transfer" Danny concluded. "Shooter touched Bennett's hand."

"We can ask him" Lindsay said.

"Bennett's hiding something" Danny continued. "Why admit to something you didn't do? He's protecting someone".

"This tape's kinda weird too" Lindsay remarks as she plays the video from the beginning.

On the tape, the bride, Gina Ray, was being interviewed. She was in a room, with full make-up, wearing her wedding own. The interviewer sounded like Harold Bennett.

"How you feeling, Gee?" Bennett asks.

"My chest is going to explode" Gina says. "I'm so happy, Harry"

"I can see that" Bennett laughs.

"I feel like I'm going to stand in front of God and he's about to hand something very important to me, something so strong yet so fragile, so plain yet so beautiful. Like God finally, finally wants me to be…. A complete soul."

"She's so in love" Lindsay says, as Gina Ray continues to narrate her feelings.

Danny turns to Lindsay and watches her silently.

"When a woman's in love, she becomes both spiritual and poetic." Lindsay continued.

"She feels one with her mind and her heart and her soul and her God. And she says it. She lets people know."

They look back at the footage. The bride, Gina, was now making her way from her suite to the hotel chapel, video camera still following her. Finally, she makes it to the church.

"Here's where it gets weird" Lindsay remarks.

There were about 200 people in the church. The groom, and victim, Toby Gelman can be seen but only in quick glimpses. There were flashes of faces darting from one to the other. And then five to ten minutes of continuous footage from different angles, different depths, different parts of the body --- her hands, her face, her hair--- of one person. Gina Ray.

"He's in love with her" Danny says. "Harold Bennett"

It was now Lindsay's turn to look at Danny.

"The whole tape is just footage of Gina Ray" Lindsay concludes.

"When a man's in love" Danny pauses and fixes a stare at Lindsay "he can't stop looking at her".
