*Okay, so. For those who know me, know I am a HUGE Eddie Guerrero fan. His legacy, his heart, the magic he left in the ring, etc. means the world to me. Same for anyone in his family, Miss. Vickie, Shaul, Chavo are all so dear to me. So this story is coming from a special place. Thanks so much for reading, and I hope you enjoy!*
"Para mi hermosa Shaul: Te amo más de lo que nunca sabrás. Amor, Papi. "
Shaul Guerrero read the tiny letter from her late father before every match. As she looked up in the mirror, she smiled softly. Sadly, with her smile, it reminded her so much of her father that when she saw it, it gave her such a somber feeling. She missed her father so much that daily, it ate her alive. She couldn't enjoy a joke without remembering her Papi's humor.
She couldn't even enjoy her favorite foods without remembering the late nights she stayed up with him cooking, talking about life, wrestling, and much more. Wrestling was her father's life. She could vividly recall the night he came home after winning the WWE Championship, scooping her and her tiny sister up in his thick arms.
She giggled softly as she remembered Eddie smacking his beautiful wife's bottom, her mother blushing and giggling as well. Eddie ran out on the porch, yelling happily: "EDDIE GUERRERO ES EL CAMPEÓN DEL MUNDO WWE! POR FIN! Después de tanto tiempo!" Shaul could, and would never forget her father's words. After watching her father's happiness, it solidified that whatever it took, she'd become a WWE Diva. Her Latina blood wouldn't allow anything else, it was mandatory.
As she stared at her big brown eyes in the mirror, she heard the faint sounds of her father's raspy voice in her ear. "Shaul, you can do this. You're a Guerrero. Look at me, Shaulita…You're beautiful. Go out there and whoop that bimbo's ass! ¿Me entiendes, mamacita?" Shaul giggled, wiping the last of her stray tears before nodding. "I got you, daddy. She's going to regret messing with a Guerrero!" As she walked off smiling, she heard her father's voice once again. "Shaul….Always a Guerrero, forever a Guerrero. Keep your smile; I gave it to you for a reason." Shaul nodded, smiling even harder than ever. "Gotcha, papi."
