CIA headquarters Langley Virginia.
there is a four-star general sitting across from the desk of a CIA spook. He was clearly not impressed with the amount of secrecy he had been exposed to when he was flown to Virginia. The CIA spook handed him a manila folder, this is for your eyes only you know the drill. The general open the folder and examine its contents and let out a loud laugh. For inside that folder there was a map of the UK with several marked spots on it and inside it read prominent wizarding strongholds. Surely this was a joke a mean trick that one of his superiors that put him up to. CIA spook said I'm afraid this isn't a joke sir. The CIA operative said we have been running an intelligence operation in the area for some time and have indeed discovered the existence of magic through several sources including a deep cover operation in the UK government. The four-star general let out a sigh assuming this is real where you want me to do about it. That question will be answered in due time you will get a full briefing from the secretary of defense

The general is now situated in the war room beneath the White House. He was just starting to get uncomfortable when the secretary of defense entered followed by the president of the United States. He rose from his seat. Please be seated said the president. The secretary of defense sat down and began the briefing. After the briefing the General had a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach he had just been told that there was a war going on a secret war that no one in the country knew about except them. And that this war threatened to spill over into their world. And that they were going to help prevent that by they the president actually ment him.
