"The decision was mine..." He could still hear her voice in his head. "What could go wrong?" He shivered at the thought of her saying that. He never wanted her to go, he couldn't bare losing her.
"Still thinking about her?" Asked a certain raven haired boy, formally known as Nightwing. The red head gave him a cold glare. "Why?" The red head asked. "Why what?" Asked Nightwing. He wasn't very good with people's emotions. He had demolished his when training as Robin. And after his parents died.
"Why did you ask her? On such a risky and dangerous mission, even when you know that we're trying to leave that life behind!" Wally yelled. Dick just stood in front of him and stared at him blankly.
"And why did we have to lose the cave in all of this mess? You all could of been killed, and what if someone got left behind? What then, Dick?" Wally said, calming down slightly. Dick's patience was running out quickly.
"Look, I'm sorry all you lost all you souvenirs" Yelled Dick. "Are you serious?! You think I care about all that meaningless junk?!" Wally retorted, "I'm worried for Artemis, terrified for her, scared she'll die (again – kinda), you put her in the middle of this – into his hands". Wally yelled while tearing up. "I need her..." He said in a more hushed tone.
"Wally – this is Kaldur we're talking about, he's our friend." Dick said while putting a hand on Wally's shoulder. Wally shrugged it off.
"Yeah Kaldur our friend" He said sarcastically while using air quotes when he said friend. Dick rolled his eyes at that comment. "Who within a few months found out that the love of his life was dead and that his father was Black Manta". Wally said, " What if he has been fooling us all? What if he is a triple agent, and you've let him play us, endangered Artemis, and the entire team." At that point Dick's eye's fell to the floor, he knew that was a possibility, but it was a risk he had to take.
"I don't know..." Said Dick.
"I need her, Dick, she keeps me alive, if anything happens to her, I will kill him." Wally said coldly. Dick just stared at him in shock. Wally then walked out of the cave. (well what remained of the cave)
"Kid Flash, BO3..." Said the cave's system, which then made a loud sizzling noise, then all the lights went out. "Well that was a disaster – heavy on the dis." Said Dick, while face palming.
