I think I may have messed up a little.
So Katie's with Flint but it's a secret and when they kiss ugghh those teeth. But Oliver is quidditch obsessed and has much nicer teeth than a certain somebody so what is Katie going to do, and how does her decision change when Flint drops a bombshell on her will Oliver come to her rescue? Thank you so much for reading, I promise that chapters will get longer! Kudos to Deliriousgoat and confused-umbrella, both have some excellent stories, please rate review favourite if you like it and tell me how to improve if you don't etc. Thank you,
RoseX
Katie sighed as lugged her trunk on to the Hogwarts express. It was the first time in 5 years that she had been later than the Weasley's, and truth be told she was far too tired to care. Katie dragged her heels along the corridor heading down the row towards the noisiest compartment. Sure enough sat cosily in the little room were Fred, George hang on no George then Fred, Lee Jordan Angelina, Alicia and Oliver, with what looked like ink from a muggle permanent marker all over his face sleeping like a baby.
"Hi Forge, hi Angelina, hi Alicia, hi Lee. What's wrong with Oliver?"
"Oh hi Katie" yelled George as she sat down opposite him. "Yeah about that, we just got sick of his constant training talk, you know day in day out quidditch, quidditch, quidditch. So we decided to semi permanently engrave are displeasure on to his face by attacking him with a sharpie thing that Dad brought us!" Everyone broke into suppressed giggles because even though the prank wasn't that funny the back to school hype was getting to them.
Just as the laughter subsided Marcus Flint captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team walked past, he caught Katie's eye and smiled at her timidly before scowling at the other occupants of the carriage. Katie sighed inwardly as he carried on.
This whole thing had started last summer, just before the last Hogsmeade weekend of term Flint, no Marcus she had to call him Marcus, had caught her after potions and helped her pack up. Later as they left the dungeons he asked Katie if she would like to get a butter beer in Hogsmeade. Even though she was wary of the great beast of a chaser she had agreed because unlike Oliver, Katie was more forgiving than most.
When it had actually got to the date he had been lovely, showing her his kinder side, chatting wither her. He seemed to really care about her and Katie had started to relax. There was however just something that made everything a little uneasy though Katie desperately wanted this to work; For her faith in humanity if nothing else.
The worst bit thought was that he wasn't actually a bad guy and he could be quite sweet, in a weird way. It was just a shame she didn't really like him in the way he liked her. Through all of his sweet romanticisms, little Shakespeare quotes here and there his teeth still repulsed her and she couldn't help feel that there was always someone else that they would each rather be with. The whole thing was just too confusing and thinking about the guilty feeling heavy in her stomach that appeared every time she thought about leaving him just gave him a headache.
A/N I am very sorry, this isn't as good as it could be! But it will get better I promise. Please review it so I know what you think and I can see how to change it for the better! Also it will get longer, basically if you like Katie and Oliver keep reading, at least the next few chapters pleaseeee!
I will stop complaining now, thank you! XX
