"Just walk strait at the wall between platforms nine and ten," the red headed woman explained to Harry with a kind smile. "Best do it in a bit of a run if you're nervous."
"Wait, what?!" Harry exclaimed with a frown. This sounded quite ridiculous to the eleven year old boy. "Why would that make me less nervous?"
"Because it would be over quicker," the woman said slowly with a patient smile. Harry tilted his head to the side in confusion.
"But, if I'm apprehensive because I have to walk through a wall, then I'm afraid of crashing into it," he told her. "If it does in fact turn out to be nothing but a wall, then if I run at it I could really hurt myself, while if I walk at it slowly, I'd simply bump into it. Walking at it would be far less nerve racking than running at it. Running at it would just be a very illogical thing to do."
The woman looked down at the little boy in puzzlement.
Hello readers! I just always found it weird that they ran at the entrance that could very well be a wall so I wrote this.
