Bella has been so happy lately. The nightmares that once terrorized her at night were gone. She no longer dreamed about Edward. Her dreams were now happy and about Jacob. Jacob healed her broken heart and pieces her back together. He did most on the work but what helped was the pack welcoming her in to the family.
Today she was heading down to la push for one of the famous bonfires but this one was extra special. Tonight she and Jacob would finally announce that he did in fact imprint on Bella. Tonight it would become official that she would be a part of the pack. She slowly pulled into Jakes driveway. Billy was sitting out on the porch smile on his face. She turned off the truck jumped out of the truck and ran up to Billy to give him a hug.
"Hi Billy it's nice to see you again." Bella said
"Well Bella you only saw me 24 hours ago. I am doing the same as yesterday." He responds as she stood across from him and was leaning on the porch railing.
"Well you can't stop a girl form trying to be nice and coming to Charlie's to watch the game on the flat screen does not count as spending time with you." She laughed.
They stayed out there for a while just chatting that was something she made sure to do a lot. Jake was busy with the pack and Billy still needed someone to help take care of him while Jake was gone. She volunteered to do it. And since then and been slowly making progress with Charlie to let her move in down there. She was just getting ready to push Billy into the house when a wolf howl was heard in the distance. This was not the normal happy howl this howl was calling the pack. That only meant one thing a vampire was found on la push land.
"Come on Billy we need to get you in where it's safe." Bella said calmly as she hurried Billy through the door. Billy just looked back at Bella she was a terrible liar and her face showed it.
Bella you just need to remember they were all made for this kind of thing they will be okay. Billy assured her. She just ignored him as he went in the living room; she on the other hand went into the kitchen to start cooking for the bonfire. A few hours past and nothing was heard. She thought she would just go out onto the back porch for a few minutes and get some air. It was warm in the kitchen with all the food that was just about done cooking on and in the stove. Just as she reached the stairs and sat down a big russet color wolf came running full speed at her. He did not have that big goofy wolf grin on his face that he normally did. She could see that he had been crying and tears were still in his eyes. "Jacob black if you don't phase now and tell me what the heck just happened, I will withhold that delicious food I had been busy cooking all afternoon form you." Jake quickly stoped looked at Bella and hid behind the garage to change. She waited on the porch for him to come out. She knew the moment she looked at jakes face something was wrong very wrong. Jake walked up to Bella.
"Bells we need to talk something happened. Let go inside and when the pack get here we will tell you." Jake looked at Bella she saw tears starting in his eyes all she could think about was her dad whatever this was it was bad.
