Colonel Sheppard was enjoying his evening walk through the city of Atlantis, when a shout pierced the air. John grimaced recognizing the name instantly. Kavanagh was all he could think. The annoying man jogged up to him, and said in a very rude manor, "Colonel, I need you to come and help me right away in the jumper bay". John really didn't want anything to do with the man, ever since Kavanagh had tried to blow the city. Thankfully he had failed at that just like everything else the man attempted. As John followed the doctor he kept thinking about how he hated the rude self-absorbed know-it-all doctor. When they neared the jumper bay, John had an evil yet satisfying idea. When the door closed behind him John quietly pulled out his stunner as the increasingly annoying doctor rambled on about some minor inconvenience of his. The man yelped as the stunner blast hit him square in the back. Quickly John loaded the stunned scientist into the closest jumper. As the Colonel Started up the ship, the control room radioed him asking why he was taking a jumper out. Shepard replied that he wanted to fly around a bit just for fun. Once he reached the main land, John quickly removed Kavanagh's radio from him and shoved the still stunned doctor out the back of the jumper. Then he quickly took off and headed back towards Atlantis telling himself to go and pick up the doctor in a week or so.
When Kavanagh finally awoke from the stunner blast, he found himself in the middle of a forest with only his clothing and a note from Colonel Sheppard. The note read, "Try to have fun. I'll be back at some point to pick you up. Try to learn how not to be such a jerk. Your Pal, John". Kavanagh looked to the sky and screamed one word, "SHEPPARD!"
