Sora looked to the sand below the branch he was sitting on, thinking.

HOW IS MY LIFE GOING TO GO ON? I'VE BEEN GONE FOREVER, AND kairi ALMOST FORGOT ME. kairi, ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS IN MY WORLD, BUT ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS IN THE UNIVERSE. BUT SHE DIDNT FORGET ME. SHE REMEMBERED, IN TIME. MY OLD HOME IS PROBABLY GONE BY NOW. BUT WHAT COULD I EXPECT TO BE DEALING WITH IN FOUR YEARS? HOW COULD I THINK THAT EVERY ONE would REMEMBER ME, SORA?

"sora,"

Sora looked up from the ground and into kairi's WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL FACE.

sora flipped off of the branch with his new thought. SURE, I'VE ALWAYS LIKED HER, BUT SOMEHOW IT'S DIFFERENT NOW.

"Oh My God! Sora, are you okay?" Kairi dipped under the branch and knelt next to the fallen sora. He winced as he sat up, feeling his head.
"I'm sorry, sora! i didn't mean to startle you!" She crawled behind him and examined his head. "Does it hurt?" SHe asked sora, worry in her voice.
"It feels like a pole is sticking out of my head!" sora said. Kairi bit her lip happily.

"Woah! that pole is huge!" SHe smiled. He threw sand at her playfully. She giggled and returned the sand. What started as innocent revenge ended up in full-power mode. Sora and KAiri were throwing sand like there was no tomorrow. KAiri hit sora in the face with a big glop of wet sand. He wiped it off with his sleeve, and smirked. "RRRRRAAAAAARRRRRRRWWWWWWW!!!!!!" he cried has he rand twored KAiri, arms open, ready to tackle her. She giggled as he ran into her and pushed her into the sand. They rolled and rolled, giggling all the way.

They slowed to a stop, and Sora landed onto KAiri. HE pushed himself up, and looked at KAiri, examining every little line on her face. She looked up, too, and seemed to be studying every line that made up sora.

"KAiri, thank-you for remembering me." Sora sat there, just staring at what was his friend KAiri.

"I wouldn't forget you, sora." Sora leaned down and waited for KAiri's approval. KAiri closed her eyes and met sora. THey sat there, kissing in front of the orange and purple sunset. KAiri liffted her arms and grabbed Sora's shoulders, and rolled him over so now she controlled the action. SOra managed a muffled laugh. Sora grabbed her and pulled her closer.

At the last flash of blue before the sun left, the two watched it, KAiri resting her head upon Sora's chest, and sora's head on his sandy hands.

"KAiri"

"Yeah"

"Would i scare you if i told you about how long i've lo-" Sora stopped mid-sentence.

I'VE KNOWN HER SINCE I WAS LITTLE, BUT THEN I LIKED HER. NOW I ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT LOVE IS. I SAW IT WITH WILL AND ELIZABETH, ARIEL AND THE PRINCE, CLOUD AND AERIS, JACK AND SALLY, AND ALLADIN AND JASMINE. BUT I JUST KISSED KAIRI FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALL THE TIME I'VE KNOWN HER. WHAT IF SHE DOESN'T love ME? WHAT IF SHE JUST FELT SORRY FOR ME? WHAT IF-

"sora, i love you,"

Sora looked down at her, and she was looking at him. she looked back down and got up.

"i'm sorry." She started off, but he grabbed her hand. she turned. he was sitting there, looking up at Kairi.

"I love you, too." She knelt, eye-level with sora. he put his hand on her face and kissed her. She closed her eyes and started crying softly.

"sora, don't ever leave"

"I wont."

I PROMISE, I'M KNOW WHERE I NEED TO BE.
