It had been a great night. Sheldon and Camille were enjoying their wedding, and everyone was having a blast.
They were all dancing except Mac, he was sitting down at the table staring at the dance floor. He felt his eyes were glued to the southern woman who was wearing a black dress that showed her back and the way her hair looked perfectly well falling to her shoulders. Jo was dancing with Flack and Mac felt really jealous but he didn't know why. Suddenly, they stopped dancing, Jo smiled and walked to the table.
"Always so lonely." Jo said as she sat down.
Mac looked at her in the exact moment that she was crossing her legs and he just couldn't help it but smirk. "What?! I just don't dance."
"Oh c'me on, don't be such a boring man."
"I'm not boring!" He laughed.
"Then come dance with me." She grabbed his hand. "Please!" She smiled at him.
He stared at her for a while. "Okay, lets go."
"Yay!" She led him to the dance floor.
They started playing the song "She" so Jo rested her hand on his right shoulder while grabbing his hand as he put his other hand on her waist. All he could think about was that she smelled like vanilla and she looked really sexy with that dress. Suddenly, he realized his hand was touching her back and he thought her skin was really soft.
When the song was done, Jo was resting her head on his shoulder while playing with his hair. He was still touching her back, making circles on it with his fingers.
"Whoa!" Adam yelled from the other side of the dance floor.
Jo looked at him. "Oh shut up, Adam!" She laughed.
"Get it Danville!" Flack yelled.
She was laying her head on Mac's shoulder again. "They are always so mature." She whispered in his ear.
"Oh I know." He laughed. "Lets get something to drink."
He took her hand and walked back to the table. They got two glasses of champagne and then walked to a small patio that was on the left side of the salon. Jo sat down on a bench and pointed the spot next to her so that Mac could sit, and he did.
"Are you enjoying the wedding?" Jo asked.
"Yes, you?" He looked at her.
"Of course, I love weddings!"
He laughed. "Let me tell you, you look gorgeous."
"Aw, thank you." She smiled at him. "Let me tell you, you aren't a bad dancer."
"Yeah, right."
"You aren't!"
"Well, thank you."
"No problem." She wrapped her arms around herself.
"Are you cold?"
"Just a little."
"Here, take this." He said while taking off his suit.
"Oh my lord, no Mac."
"Come on, take it." He put it on her shoulders.
"Thank you."
"You're very welcome."
They sat in silence for a few minutes, both of them were going crazy with their thoughts. Mac couldn't stop thinking about how sexy she looked, and Jo was just thinking about how she'd love to kiss him.
"You smell like vanilla." Mac said looking down.
"What?!" She looked at him, but he didn't.
"When we were dancing I smelled it, your skin smells like vanilla."
"It's a body lotion. I taste like vanilla too." She laughed.
"Oh God." He laughed.
"You wanna try it?" She winked at him when he looked at her.
"Maybe later, honey." He laughed again.
"Okay then."
"You're crazy, Jo."
"I'm not. I'm just trying to do what Flack said, get it."
"What do you wanna get?"
"You."
"Oh I see."
"Yep."
He just stared at her, he couldn't believe how close they've became in just one year. All he wanted to do was spend his days around her souther charm.
"You're just gonna stare? Do I seriously have to be the one doing everything?"
"I'm not following you."
She rolled her eyes and then kissed him gently. When she pulled away she looked into his eyes while he pulled her closer to him, she rested her head against his chest.
"I love you, Mac."
"I love you too, Jo." He kissed the top of her head.
