DIFFUSING THE BOMB

"Get everyone out, no one comes in the front or back. Move!" Gibbs yelled as he made sure everyone was out of the building before running out the door himself. Just as soon as he had closed the front, the back door creaked open and Officer Ziva David hurried in.

"Ziva, what the hell are you doing?" Agent Tony Dinozzo whispered as he followed the Mossad officer into the booby trapped building.

"I can disarm it."

"Well, lets go outside and talk about this. Jeeze…" Tony said as he followed her farther into the building.

"If this building explodes, we will lose evidence." Ziva stated as she climbed the beams of the building up to where the bomb sat at the crossing.

"Well oh well, but...Ziva!"

Tony sighed as he realized there was nothing he could do to stop her and quickly followed Ziva up to where the bomb was.

"This has to be the stupidest thing any human being has ever done..."

"Then why are you following me?" Ziva said, mockingly.

To make sure you aren't killed. "I don't freaking know!"

As Ziva got to the bomb, she began sorting out the wires. The bomb was crudely made, or so it looked. There was a cell phone attached to the top, which was obviously the detonator. Once call to that phone would trigger the bomb and the building would blow, killing her and Tony, and destroying any evidence they may find. Tony crouched down across from Ziva as she handed him a part of the bomb so she could better look at the wires.

"Here, hold this."

"Any idea what'll happen if that cell phone goes off?" Tony said quietly.

Ziva ignored that question and continued working to disarm the bomb when Tony let out a soft laugh.

"I can see down your shirt."

"Oh, I don't think your new girlfriend will like that." Ziva said jokingly, hoping Tony didn't notice the hidden malice in her words. She could tell Tony tensed up slightly.

"What are you talking about?" he said, in a laughing manor.

"Oh, come on Tony, you haven't looked at a single woman lately." Myself included, Ziva thought as she found the wire she was looking for.

"Well, I'm looking down your shirt right now," Tony stated matter-of-factly. "I'm just not sure whether it's worth..." Ziva cut the wire and accidentally elbowed Tony in the process. He gave a slight grunt as Ziva put down her knife.

"dying for." Tony finished.

"Not worth dying for," Ziva repeated as she put the diffused bomb down. She then looked up at Tony with suggestive gaze. "I'll remember that."
