The room appeared to be made of gold, lit up by the fire of the dying sun. The walls were made of beautiful, weathered oak, and they were smooth to the touch. There were many decorations: flowers adorned the windowsills and small trees grew in pots lining the walls; the walls were covered with painted inscriptions, the colors rich and never fading despite their ancient age; the windows were formed by the twisting branches of the oak tree, bending into the room and forming more of the walls; the ceiling was adorned by a chandelier made of more twisting and curving branches of the ancient oak tree, the branches' rugged beauty softened by the innocence of small, white flowers. However, the throne in the center of the room was always the first to be admired by visiting creatures.
The throne jutted out from the far wall from the door, somehow curving back into it. The seat was made of smaller branches, meshed together to form a spry seat. The arm-rests were thousands upon thousands of the branches, just twining together to form a solid surface for one to rest their arms upon. At the feet of the throne was a slight slope of branches, just steep enough to give one's heels and the back of one's calves something to rest against. The throne was bare of decoration, but it was made of such beautiful, golden oak wood that it needed no other accompaniment.
In all of history, there is only one to ever sit upon the throne, and her name is Eileen. Eileen is the Faerie Queen, the guardian of nature. She ensures that there is balance between the creatures of the dark and the creatures of the light.
Now, I am sure you are wondering, does Eileen have wings? The answer? Yes, Eileen does have wings. However, she prefers not to flaunt them, instead keeping them tucked away in a hidden pouch designed to help her appear to be human. Eileen appears to be a normal human, but she does have a slight taper to her ears that is nearly unnoticeable. The only way for one to notice the tip to her ears is if they truly know what they are looking for, and that nearly never happens.
Eileen is very beautiful, and she has captivated thousands of men throughout the ages. She has light blue eyes - almost silver when in the sun. Her hair, while somewhat odd, is also silver. She can cast a charm over her hair, creating the mirage of it being another color, but as humans progressed throughout the ages, she was finally able to remove the charm and walk around naturally. Eileen has a sort of girlish charm, giving her an innocent appeal. However, she is (and dresses) mysterious, noble, dignified - in other words, she is everything most men fear.
However, she knows that there is one man out there whom belongs only to her, and she cannot wait to find him.
But she will find that he is not what he appears to be at first, instead being much darker and more mysterious. However, he will intrigue her, and she will grow closer to the mysterious man, eventually losing herself to his charms.
But he does not know of their bond, and, instead, thinks another is his soul-mate.
Does Eileen have time to rectify his mistake, or will they both suffer? What about the mysterious woman that appears to have Eileen's soul-mate captivated? Does she have a soul-mate of her own?
