Hi everyone! I just thought I'd make a teeny one shot for Halloween. I literally woke up this morning and had the idea. So here it is! I hope you enjoy and have a great Halloween!

Hollow-een
"Matsumoto, would you kindly stop covering your nails in that foul smelling stuff and help me with the paperwork? We have to finish this before we can go to the world of the living, and I'd rather not be there for too long." Toushiro was sitting behind his desk scribbling furiously on his paperwork as his lieutenant sat on the sofa hunched over her toes applying red polish to her nails.
"Why such a rush, taicho? We haven't been there in a while, and I would like to see Orihime for a bit, and do some shopping," she said, eyes never leaving her toes.
"Because I don't want the paperwork to get backed up, and you should train more. We do have a war on the way. I want to get there, kill all the hollows we find, bury souls, and come back."
"How about if I help you finish the paperwork in super speed and we finish within the next hour and a half, we can stay until I finish visiting and shopping." Rangiku looked at him, smiling hopefully.
Sigh. Of course she couldn't be a normal fukutaicho and do her job because that's what she's supposed to do. "Fine, Matsumoto. But I will be keeping time." He smirked. I'd like to see her do the paperwork this fast.
"Well, I'm finished with my nails anyways, And it doesn't smell that bad!" Rangiku put all her nail things into a bag and slid it under the couch.
"Yes, it does. It's giving me a headache."
"Okay, bring on the work!"
________At the Senkaimon________
"I can't believe I agreed to this, Matsumoto. You should already do your paperwork, not just do it when deals are involved." Toushiro scowled and crossed his arms.
"It's only fair, taicho. I want to stay longer than you do, but we can't leave at separate times. So by my helping you with the paperwork, we get there earlier, and my shopping will keep us there later, but in the end we'll leave at the same time as planned. It works out for both of us!" She flashed him a smile with her right hand making a victory sign.
He sighed, then they proceeded through the gate with a hell butterfly leading the way.
________World of the Living_______
"Thanks for helping me carry all my bags, Taicho!" Rangiku looked at him happily as they walked out of the 11th store.
"It wasn't like I had much choice. What the?!?!" He quickly swallowed a soul candy and ran out into the street, drawing his sword. "Where did all these hollows come from and why didn't the detector sense them?"
Rangiku looked around and started to laugh. He looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't quite see what's so funny. We have to call reinforcements! Who knows how many there are!"
"T-Taicho! Just stop talking, I can't breathe! HAHAHAHA!" She had dropped her bags by now and was holding her stomach. She clung to the building with her other hand and it kept her from falling.
"What is wrong with you?" He looked at her seriously.
"These aren't hollows, taicho. They are humans, dressed up as monsters, heroes, or anything for a holiday called Halloween." She explained still giggling.
"These are humans?" A sigh escaped his lips as he made his way back to his gigai. "I don't think I'll ever understand the irrationality of humans. Although, I was wondering why their masks looked so different."
