A/N: Well, I thought up this little story after listening to 'Three Cool Cats' recorded by The Beatles, and 'Stray Cat Strut' by the Stray Cats, you may know their song 'Rock This Town.' Anyway, on with the story!
Stray Cat Strut
Prologue
Walking down a lonely alleyway in an unfamiliar place was everyone's favorite lilac feline, Blaze. She aimlessly looked up and down the rows and rows of dark and shady looking buildings. A bar here, an empty warehouse there, none looking very welcoming. She sat down on an overturned crate to try to remember how she got in this predicament:
"Return the Sol Emeralds. Now."
"And what if I don't want to girlie? These ere' rocks pack quite a punch."
"This!"
She sprung at the thief in the chamber room in which she guarded the emeralds. The thief easily dodged the kick while retaining a smile.
"You're just making this easy princess. I expected a bit more fight outa' you."
"You want tough? Here's tough!"
She sent a fire ball aimed at the thief's chest. It made contact, but did no damage. This time she sent a wave of fire toward him. Still nothing!
The thief yawned, "I thought you were going to be tough, but I guess I'll give you a fighting chance back on my turf." He held a gleaming emerald over his head, and after yelling 'Chaos Control' they both were enveloped in a bright light. After that, she didn't remember anything, just waking up on the cold wet asphalt of wherever the hell she was.
Suddenly, waking up from her daydream, she saw two men quickly approaching where she was sitting. She got up and quickly started to walk away from them, but they had seen her.
"Hey girl, come here a moment!" The request fell on deaf ears as Blaze started jogging away. The line was crossed as one of them yelled, "We just want to show a pretty lady a good time!" Blaze sprinted, knowing she had to get away from these guys. As she thought she had made it, an arm grabbed out from behind a corner and reached for her. As she struggled with her assailant, she tried to start a fireball, but to her dismay she couldn't. She would have to rely on her wits for this one. She kicked and screamed all she could, but there were no sirens or good Samaritans, she was on her own here. As the other two men caught up, she heard one of them say, "Bind her and gag her, the boss will be pleased." As the rope was tied around her wrists, she looked up to see four silhouettes standing on the edge of the building. She hoped with all her might they were friendly.
A/N:Yes, this was short because it was the prologue… please R&R!
