This story is short, I know.
When I thought of the idea, I couldn't think of anything else to make it longer.
Hopefully you will all like it and please if you don't like it don't be rude about it. I really liked how this turned out.
Disclaimer-I do not own the Percy Jackson series or the Heroes of Olympus series.
"I can't believe I'm going to say it tomorrow." Thalia repeated for the twentieth time that day. She had been going on and on about it with Annabeth having to listen to it.
"Neither can I." Annabeth agreed as they continued to walk through Camp Half Blood. "So why. . . ?"
"I don't know," the daughter of Zeus admitted. "I really can't explain it. One day I just felt like telling and couldn't get the thought out of my head."
"Maybe she charmed you or something." Annabeth suggested.
Her friend shook her head. "Why would she do something like that?"
"It's her. She hates all demigods, remember?"
"Because the old mighty king couldn't keep it in his pants." Loud thunder boomed across camp. "Why you getting mad at me? It's the truth!"
Annabeth sighed once more. "Are you sure you want to tell her?"
Thalia was about to answer, but stopped herself when she heard a group of demigods laughing together. Turns out the laughing teens were the rest of the seven who were sitting by the camp-fire. Her brother, who was smiling, turned his head, saw the girls, and motioned them to come join them.
The two starting walking over there while Jason went back to joking around with the others. "Yes," Thalia answered as she smiled at her happy brother. "I'm sure."
"Sure about what?" Percy asked when the two sat down, his girlfriend sitting beside him.
"You'll see."
The next morning during breakfast, Thalia and Jason were sitting at their father's table when Chiron stood by the end of the table. "Thalia, the Olympians will be here at noon to hear what you have to say."
"What?!" Thalia screamed making everyone in the room shut up immediately. "But I said-"
"You said you needed to speak with one of them," Chiron clarified calmly. "You didn't tell me which one so I had no choice but to ask them all to join."
The daughter of the sky groaned, banging her head on the hard table as the centaur walked away. "Great, just great." She mumbled. "It's bad enough all the campers will think I've gone insane, but now I have to worry about not acting like a fool in front of the gods!"
Four hours later, it was time for everyone to stare at Thalia wondering if they heard her correctly. The twelve immortals were sitting on provided chairs in front of the Big House while she tried to build up her courage.
"Thalia, they don't have all day," Annabeth muttered behind her trying to get her to do something.
She sighed before walking up to them. "Lady Hera."
Said goddess was puzzled that her name was spoken along with everyone else but stood in front of the young huntress. "Yes?"
Out of the blue, she hugged the goddess, shocking everyone including herself. After a few seconds, Thalia let go and backed a few feet away. "Thank you," she said shocking them even more.
"And why is it that your thanking me?" Hera questioned the young demigod.
"Because if it wasn't for you, I would have never seen my brother again," Thalia answered with a small smile. "So thank you for giving me my family."
The Queen of Gods gave the girl a faint smile. "You're welcome."
Like I said it is short.
