the dumb war
Fangs POV.
siten around in this damn trench with this Gatlingun fighten a war i didn't want. "private Fang is it all clear" "sir yes sir." you see I wear this coat of gray fighting a force of our own we're at war with our nation north versus south.
Normal POV
All at once a bugle sounded and hundreds of union soldiers charged over the hills. Fang looked down his sights on the Gatlingun and opened fire on the charging enemy taking one by one unit the Yankees broke the lines. One of the boys in blue jumped in with Fang he fought with him Fang fought him back and threw him into the empty ammunition room and latched the door. "poor kid I dont have the heart to kill him" "JHONY REB LET ME OUT YOU SON OF A BITCH" the young man yelled at Fang. The enemy retreated from their attack while Fang sat back to take a smoke. He let the young man out of the ammunition room. "hey if you calm down and let me talk to you I promise you won't be hurt" the young man sat in silence "I'm Fang I didn't want any part in this damn war I dont hate you or the north ok son." "I'm Bark I didn't want any part eather are your men all gone" "yeah dead or dieing lets get out of here" "you mean run away from both sides." "yes I do Bark I say we run and never look back" "ok I'll go with you Fang" "good come on."
Bark's POV
I look at him in fear we lost everything in the bloody battle my new friend saw something in my eyes that I was nervous about was a dark secret of mine even though I was a bear and Fang is a weasel but the minute I saw him I fell in love with him I know its a bad thing in my life but I just wanted him to hold me and keep me safe but I guess that will never happen. me and Fang rode out to an abandoned farm turns out it was Fangs farm jjust outside the town of Roads. he carried the Gatlingun with him I don't know why but he was acting kinda funny.
normal POV
"So Bark what did you do before the war" "I was a boxer you" "an orphan I saw something in your heart in the battle and in the way you looked at me do you wanna tell me something." "well I think I love you but you wouldn't understand." Fang blushed lightly and smiled at the big cream colored bear. "I do understand Bark I didn't kill you because I didn't have the heart to and to answer that question I do love you as well." the two layed in a long loveing embrace as they fell asleep.
