Arthur sighed and flipped over onto his side. That was the third time he changed positions in the past five minutes. He was having trouble sleeping

He sighed again and picked up his phone from the nightstand next to his bed and turned it on. The brightness coming from the small devise temporarily blinded the Brit. He ignored it and called Alfred.

'I don't even know what time it is over there.' Alfred thought as he heard the first ring. 'I don't care I just need to hear his voice.'

The other line picked up "Yo! Artie! What's up?" a loud and familiar voice greeted.

"Hello, Alfred." Arthur sounded relieved. "I just wanted to see how you were doing."

"I'm doing fine. Can't sleep again, huh?"

Arthur chuckled "You know me all too well."

"So I was right? Cool! That means you miss me!" The American laughed.

Arthur's blush was almost audible. "G-Git! I never said anything of the sort!"

"You didn't have to!" Alfred's voice turned soft and sweet, "I miss you too."

"I will never understand how you are able to say these things so bluntly."

"Well it's the truth! Anyways, whatcha wanna talk about?"

"I don't know," The Brit's voice turned very quiet "I j-just wanted to hear your voice..."

"You are so adorable!" Alfred giggled.

"I am not!" Even though he couldn't see it, Alfred knew how red Arthur's face was.

"Hey, can I tell you a secret?" Alfred whispered.

"Yes, of course." Arthur sounded serious.

"I love you." The American said with a smile in his voice.

There was a long pause, then finally the Brit spoke. "I l-love you too." his voice was so quiet, Alfred was barely able to hear it.

"You need to come over. Like soon." Alfred said in an almost commanding voice. "I miss you too much. I need to see you."

"My boss won't like the suddenness...But I can come over tomorrow."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Next Day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alfred waited at the Airport, excited to see his beloved Brit after what seemed like and eternity. As Arthur got off the plane, he searched eagerly for his lover. When he finally saw him, he smiled ear to ear and ran to him. Alfred met Arthur halfway and engulfed him in a warm hug. He swung the smaller man around in his arms, neither of them caring about the looks they were receiving from those around them. Because to them right now, they were all alone in this airport. They just wanted to enjoy the feeling of having the other's arms around them. After a few moments, they let go of each other, but still stayed close. They stared lovingly into each other's eyes. Blue pouring into green.
Alfred cupped Arthur's face in his hands and stroked his soft cheeks with his thumbs.
"Oh Artie," He said as he leaned in. When their lips were just centimeters apart, he whispered "I missed you so much."
And finally their lips met, and the two were happily reunited.
