Hello thar.
This is that one fanfic I was talkin aboot. If you're not one of my close friends, you probably have no idea what this means.
It all began as a regular day of school, like every cliche self-insert fanfiction. Suddenly, I come across a door that wasn't there before. For plot convenient reasons, I open it and get transported into another world...
"Ow. that was a rough fall", I thought a short while after I entered the door. It had also closed behind me and disappeared.
"Fucking great. I'm stuck here now..."
I decide to tread the grassy hills that I landed on, possibly to find something, or someone. After a 30 minute walk, I come across a place which I have definitely seen before...
"Wait. Is that seriously... The Candy Kingdom? Did I actually end up in the world of Adventure Time?!"
I run to the main gate, and lo and behold, there are candy people walking in and out, with two banana guards on watch.
"What is this... How did that door even lead me here...", I think distraughtly, but collect my thoughts and continue on.
I try to get in the kingdom itself but I'm stopped.
"Halt! We've never seen you in these parts before, identify yourself!", one of the guards exclaimed.
I decide to withdraw my real name, for now.
"I'm a human. I wish to enter the kingdom-"
"A human? Do you know Finn?", he asked in a surprised tone.
"...I have heard of him, yes. But I don't know him personally."
The guard stands aside. "You may enter the kingdom, but we'll make a report of another human in this land."
Oh yeah, Finn was supposed to be the last one...
After I enter the kingdom, my first thought is to see Princess Bubblegum. She might have a scientific reason to what the hell is going on...
As I begin walking towards the royal castle, I can feel many eyes staring at me. They're all whispering something, but I hear the word "human" too many times. Am I really that extraordinary? Does everyone in Ooo know that Finn was supposed to be the only one?
Reaching the castle's entrance, I'm stopped yet again.
"Why do you wish to see the princess, human?" the guard asks.
"I need to-"
"Stand down and let him in now!" I hear a female voice order from behind them.
"Are you sure princess? He's a complete stranger to the kingdom...", the second guard notifies worriedly.
"I gave you orders, general. This is an extraordinary occasion." the princess syas in a determined tone.
"As you wish, your grace." The guards move out of the way.
"Follow me, please", the princess tells me.
I walk inside, following her to the break room.
