A/N: I both liked and hated Doom (the old ones) with a passion; it gave me nightmares. Then again, I was only 10 or so. The fact that the main character made funny faces made up for the scary moments. :P
I actually dreamed this part. It was pretty terrifying to say the least XD Enjoy! :)
Axel's footsteps echoed through the desolated area. He was looking for Roxas, but his dark corridor had led him to...he had no clue where he was right now, but this place gave him the creeps. Everything was so grey and threatening, that even a Nobody like him could feel that something was in the air. Not only that, but the place was far too quiet for comfort too.
Where is everybody? Is everyone in this world dead or something? he wondered as he took in his surroundings.
Maybe he had watched too many scary movies with Roxas and Xion, but it felt as though something bad was about to happen in this big, garage-like building...
The redhead shrugged and decided to head towards the first door, which opened automatically. If he'd had a heart, this would be where he'd get a heart-attack; as soon as the door opened, the most hideous and terrifying monster he'd ever seen lunged at him. Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with Axel's reflexes, but he still barely managed to block its first attack with his weapons.
He let out a relieved sigh when the monster turned into ash. "Whoa, what the devil was that?! Talk about Doom with a capital D. Okay, I've seen enough. He isn't here."
With that, he made another dark corridor and disappeared. Little did he know that one of the monsters would follow him…
